Abraham Abadie
Principal & Co-Founder
Abraham is a Co-founder and Principal of Cove Investment Group. Abraham focuses primarily on capital raising, investor relations, and business development, while overseeing all facets of the business, and has over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Prior to founding CIG, Mr. Abadie was a Principal and co-founder of AMS Acquisitions, a premier New York City based real estate investment and development firm. There, he focused on the sourcing, underwriting, and financing of all investments, while overseeing the leasing, management, and renovations of all assets. Abraham, along with his partner, Michael Mitnick, built a portfolio of retail, residential, and office properties in the New York Metropolitan area spanning approximately 2 million square feet and over 4 million square feet of development rights, with a total capitalization in excess of $1 billion dollars.
Before AMS, Abraham worked at Crown Acquisitions, a retail-focused real estate acquisitions firm, and worked closely with the firm’s Principals in sourcing acquisition opportunities on major retail corridors throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Prior to joining Crown, Abraham worked at Peter Ash Real Estate, a boutique residential sales, and leasing firm.
Jeffrey Corkhill
Principal & Co-Founder
Mr. Corkhill is a Co-Founder and Principal of Cove Investment Group. Mr. Corkhill focuses on identifying and sourcing opportunities, underwriting and assessing the viability of transactions, structuring and negotiating deals, sourcing financing, providing due diligence for acquisitions, and closing and managing an asset.
During his career, Mr. Corkhill has invested over $700 million of equity for an enterprise value of $2.7 billion, including close to $300 million of equity in multifamily investments. In Mr. Corkhill’s latest position, investing on behalf of a group of high-net-worth Italian families, he executed the investment strategy Cove Investment Group pursues, value-add multifamily acquisitions. Mr. Corkhill was responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing real estate investments in the US. Mr. Corkhill solely ran the entire US real estate platform for the family office, investing over $50 million of equity for the investors.
Prior to the family office, Mr. Corkhill held various acquisition roles for a publicly traded developer/operator, a $12+ billion pension fund, and a regional private equity firm. Additionally, Mr. Corkhill spent time working in sell-side advisory roles and multifamily consulting. Mr. Corkhill received a B.A. in Economics from Loyola College in Maryland and a M.S. (honors with distinction) in Real Estate Finance and Investments from New York University.
